Been busy practising hand printing and these are some of the results... Very pleased actually :)

Printed on t-shirts and long sleeves, can be washed on 30 degrees reversed (but image will fade with time...)
If someone is interested, i sell them for £9 ea - email me if you'd like one..

Creature Comforts...... Our new friends!

Needlesss to say i've been bored the last couple of weeks recovering from my tonsilectomy, i have obviously spent some time bringing a few new ideas to life..
Meet Fuzzy the Fox and Una the Owl..these two are just some of our new friends who will soon appear on a T-shirt near you! ...as soon as i have practised and perfected my textile printing skills, i'll add the shirts on to the blog for sale... Have a nice day :)

Sofie's new trousers....

I made these elasticated trousers the other day and really like how they turned out. I've made them with Amy Butler fabrics which is one of my favourite textile designers..beautiful colours and patterns and sooo comfy. Most LMS items are made from Amy Butler fabrics as the quality and design just can't be beaten...

Buy a clever bag...and help children!

A friend of mine showed me some bags she sells in her shop and i loved them so much i had to look on their website when i got home...one bag in particular caught my attention and it's actually for mums and kids at the same time. It's the absolutely adorable, clever motherchildbag by German designer Reisenthel. It allows you to have an extra free hand while shopping with your child...and they get to do some shopping with you too :) The bag also serves another fantastic purpose- Reisenthel will be donating 1 Euro from the sale of each bag to selected children's day care facilities in Germany. My best friend Bernina..

I've had a few days of getting my new ideas down on paper and have now cut some new patterns and will start on a new project - I LOVE autumn, i adore the colours, the temperature and all the lovely comfy garments to wear...So, i've seen some gorgeous autmny fabrics and will try to make a few clothes i haven't made before so keep checking in, i'll add them as soon as they're done :)

I made these two little cuties yesterday and thought i'd add them as they would make lovely presents.
Alfie is made of repurposed linen jute and velour and Mimi's made of repurposed linen jute and vintage kimono silk - luuuverly!

Their names are Alfie (The baby owl) and Mimi (The cuddle-mouse)..in a few days, their friend Whiskers (The purr'fect kitten) will join them too.
